Can You Put Builder Gel Over Acrylic Nails
Answer 1 of 4.
Can you put builder gel over acrylic nails. If its either yes you can. You use a base then a builder gel which you apply fairly thickly to give the nail strength and shape. Doing so will put you at increased risk of infections and other nail disorders long term.
You can use just one nail polish layer to make your acrylic nails looks nice especially if you are only applying acrylic nails to get the extra length to make them look beautiful. Builder gel is applied by using a gel brush and floating the product onto the nail by starting from the cuticle area and working your way down to the free edge. With builder gel you can create the same look hardness and strength as acrylic or SNS nails without damaging the natural nail underneath as much.
Apply one layer and let it dry. This makes them great for people who get. Even though it is a gel product note.
Apply gel and cure under a UV lamp. The Builder Gel will level itself out once applied if you find it is too thick in one area you can manipulate it with your brush however sometimes it is best to let it settle for a few seconds to see where it ends up. Then you can use colour gels or gel varnish colours.
I do not really recommen. As well as acetone making your nails dry and brittle the buffing process can weaken your nails. You have to file the tips to rough up the surface.
How are they cured. Apply your clear gel on top of your nails. Clear camouflage pinky colour generally used.
